Objectives:

Unberthing Operation - vessel disembark the MICT Pilot at the pilot station and passing the breakwater then proceed to open sea, Overtake to the other vessels, keep clear to all small craft in the vicinity of Manila North Harbour.

Aim:

To be able to operate the alternators, generators and the control systems by preparing the starting air system, starting the emergency generator and connecting it to the emergency bus bar.

Aim:

To be able to operate the pumping systems and the associated control systems by starting and operating the main sea water pump No. 1 and puting into normal operating mode the sea water system.

Aim:

To be able to operate the bilge, the ballast and the cargo pumping systems by pumping out bilge water from the engine room bilge aft, the bilge pipe duct, the cargo hold bilge No. 1, 2, 3 & 4, to the settling tank using the engine room bilge pump but not the bilge pumnp No. 1 and 2 and at the same time pumping out the settlling tank using the oily water seperator.

Aim:

To be able to operate the bilge, the ballast and the cargo pumping systems by pumping out a ballast water from the fore peak tank and the double bottom tank PS and SB, up to the desired voulume.

Aim:

To be able to operate the bilge, the ballast and the cargo pumping systems by toping up the wing tanks 1B PS and 1B SB up to the desired voulume.

Aim:

To be able to operate the main and the auxiliary machinery and the associated control systems by preparing, starting up and putting the HFO purifier No. 2 into the normal operating mode, filling the HFO servicce tank from the HFO sttling tank No. 2.

Aim:

To be able to start up and shut down the main propulsion and the auxiliary machinery including the associated systems by operating the boiler safely until the steam pressure reaches 6.8 to 7.2 bars.
